It’s worth noting that there was a rumor circulating last month thatScott Eastwoodis playing Steve Trevor inSuicide Squad, although his role in that superhero adventure was never confirmed. As it turns out,Scott Eastwoodwas given the choice to either test for the role of Steve Trevor inWonder Woman, or take the guaranteed supporting role inSuicide Squad, which he ultimately chose. There is still no word on who the actor is playing inSuicide Squad. No story details have been confirmed forWonder Woman, but this project is said to be an origin story, although it isn’t ultimately clear when exactly the story is set.

There were rumors that, inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,Wonder Womanwould be hundreds of years old. If theWonder Womanmovie truly is an origin story, it could be set several centuries ago, giving fans a glimpse of howWonder Womancame to be, before bringing her story back to present day inJustice League Part 1andJustice League Part 2.
