Helldivers 2 contains a feature called Major Orders, which are extended missions that players can complete for Medals, Requisition Slips, or other rewards. Some players have been frustrated that their progress has not counted to the Major Order total, so here is why your progress is not updating.
How to Fix Major Order Count Not Updating in Helldivers 2
Major Orders arecommunity-based missionsthat are expected to be completed over a lengthy period of time. This can range anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
That means these missions must be collectively completed by the community. The objectives of the Major Order arenot updated in real-time unless the community reaches a milestone together.

For example, one Major Order has players activating the Terminid Control System on four Barrier Planets: Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing. While there is a singular mission that has players activate the Terminid Control System, completing the mission individually on each planet does not check it off the Major Order list.
Players must complete the singular mission multiple times to successfully liberate the planet. The planet andobjective will be checked off the listonce the community has collectively done this task enough times.
These Major Orders appear periodically and often havegame-changing consequencesfor the Galactic Map depending on whether the community completes the order. The community may also get something good from them, like thePatriot Exosuit Mechs.
What’s the Difference Between Major and Personal Orders?
Major Orders should not be confused withPersonal Orders, which are extended missions for individual players to complete. These also reward with additional Medals.
Personal Orders often involve killing a certain number of enemies outright or from using a specific weapon or Stratagem with progress updated over multiple missions. This order can be done individually, butprogress can also count from teammatesdoing the same.
