Valorant has been a beloved game throughout the years, but similarly to any online title in this day and age, there are bound to be some errors with getting online.
One of these revolves around the error message ‘Update Server Down,’ and we will run over what this means for Valorant players.
Valorant: What is the Update Server Down Error
It’s never a fun experience loading up your PC and booting up the game you want to play, and it just simply doesn’t work.
This has been the case throughout the years for some players when it comes to Valorant, as when they’re on the Riot Games launcher, they are shown the message, ‘Update Server Down.’ The launcher will then prompt you with the message “Hmmm, our servers seem to be down at the moment and we weren’t able to get an update required to launch games. We are sorry and are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Please try again later.”
This is going to cause a detour in your plans to play Valorant, and there are some solutions we can provide you with so you can hopefully get back into the action. However, we aren’t wizards regarding Valorant’s servers, but through experience, these may resolve this issue for you.
