FortniteReload is a new mode made for faster rounds of gameplay and has a different set of weapons from the regular Battle Royale offering. It seems deeply inspired by what Call of Duty Warzone’s Resurgence mode provides for its players. Here’s what you need to know about Fortnite Reload.

Fortnite Reload is a faster-paced gameplay style with a smaller map and less players on the battlefield. One of the biggest changes is that your teammates are revived if you survive long enough. It’s also limited to just squads (teams of four), so you’re able to’t solo or duo in Fortnite Reload unless you pick “No fill.” Unless you want an extra challenge, I wouldn’t recommend it. Expect more challenge from Fortnite Reload

There is a huge weapon pool for Fortnite Reload, and old favorites are back. Funnily enough, the Mythic Goldfish is back as a weapon. It’s extremely rare, but if you get it and successfully throw this object towards an opponent, it’s a one-hit KO. You’ll also find Jules' Glider Gun, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug, and the Rocket Launcher, according toGame Rant.

Those wanting a blast from the past similar to the mega-popular Fortnite OG season are sure to get some fun out of Reload. Be warned, however. From my experience, the players seem to be of a higher skill level than average. One of my avid Fortnite friends calls them “Sweaty.”

To entice new players to try Fortnite Reload, there are a bunch of quests to complete. They’ll get you XP for the battle pass. Each quest gives you an amazing 20K of experience. For Chapter 5 Season 3, these quests, as of the time of writing, include:

These quests seem pretty easy to finish, so you should get them done in a matter of an hour or so, even if you playFortnite on the Nintendo Switch.
