The Guardian Stone is an excellent late-game item in Lost Ark. you’re able to use it to upgrade all gear except weapons. Normally, they’re given out as rewards for Chaos Dungeons, main quests, and log-in bonuses. It is recommended that players keep them until after Shushire when they need to level up their gear.
The Guardian Stone Fragments are just another form of Guardian Stones. You can hone low-level gear with fragments, but high-level gear requires whole stone crystals. It’s good to save as many Guardian Stone Fragments as you can before completing Shushire because the next quest requires you to level up your gear to 460.

How to get Guardian Stone Fragments
Going to Chaos Dungeons or Guardian Raids makes you more likely to find Guardian Stone Fragments. Repeated raids and dungeons give very little, but you’re sure to get some each time. Several dungeons and raids are locked based on gear level, so you’ll need to repeat a few before you’re able to do much. The icons for Guardian Raids and Chaos Dungeons are shown below.
As a reward for logging in daily, you will receive many Guardian Stones and Guardian Stone Fragments. Additionally, you can get Crystals, which you can use to buy more Guardian Stone Fragments.
With time and patience, you can farm these Fragments through Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids, but don’t expect to receive a lot for your trouble.
