On Tuesday, Bandai Namco announced it is making a remaster of the beloved PS3 RPG,Tales of Xillia. The game will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switc, and PC with touched-up graphics for new displays and major quality-of-life improvements such as the implementation of auto-saving.
The Definitive Version
First launched in 2011, the game will now include early access to the Grade Shop and auto-save that will make the game more applicable to a modern audience.Tales of XilliaRemastered also features the Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System that offers a rewarding combo attack system that lets you blend melee and special support skills into the combat. All the DLC that was released with Tales of Xillia on PS3 is included in the Remastered version. This includes more than forty pieces of content, including costumes inspired by past Tales titles and adventure support items.
You play as a medical student named Jude, who comes across Milla, a woman accompanied by spirits. They both come across the Kingdom of Rashugal, which is using a weapon that drains mana from the world, devastating the planet. Their goal is to destroy the device and stop the Kingdom of Rashugal.

Tales of Xillia Remastered will launch on June 14, 2025, so if you want a fantasy diversion to Halloween, you’re all set. A trailer has been released to celebrate the announcement.
Tales of Xillia Remastered currently doesn’t have a Nintendo Switch 2 version yet.

If you don’t want to fight the many enemies in front of Jude Mathis and his friends, there is a toggle available to turn off enemy encounters. If you get taken down in a regular battle, you’re able to instantly retry the fight after dying.
The game will be much faster than the original PS3 release. According to theofficial Bandai Namco blog, your character’s run can be increased into a dash while in the Overworld. Star icons have also been added for key story destinations on the world map, location map, mini-map and field. Sub-events will also have an exclamation mark on the world map and mini-map. Icons for treasure chests, search bags, search points and Aifread’s Treasures have also been added to the minimap and location map.
