Get ready to return to Raccoon city in Resident Evil 3 which will be launching its demo on consoles and PC this week, plus an open beta test next week.
Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo Launches This Week Plus Open Beta Test Starts March 27th
TheResident Evil 3 Remakedemo launches this week onMarch 19thfor PS4, Xbox One and PC. What exactly will be going down in this demo? On the Playstation Blog, Capcom have shared that fans will return to the metropolis known as Raccoon City, shedding light on the events that not only happened after Resident Evil 2, but also before.

Playing as Jill, you will need to think about conserving your ammo, confronting zombies and also knowing when it’s time to run away from a certain bioweapon who may drop in.
The post hints at “always keep an escape route in mind…” meaning you’ll have to take note of the exits, in case you need to make a quick getaway if you become overrun. RE3 looks to follow a bit of strategy as top tips include not all items are needed right away.
Jill is diving back into a zombie filled adventure, once Raccoon City was called home. Getting her first taste of the undead with an incident that happened in the Arklay Mountains.
There is also a challenge in the demo, find all 20 “Mr. Charlie” figures which are scattered throughout. This is similar to the bobble heads you may have seen inResident Evil 2 Remake, “Mr. Raccoon” or in RE7’s “Mr. Everywhere”. They are not exactly easy to find, but if you’re up for the hunt, it’s a fun challenge to try while you dodge zombies and try to stay alive.
Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta
Those who want to try the team based horror survival game calledResident Evil Resistance, can take part in the open beta test that takes place onMarch 27th. Here you’ll play as either one of the four survivors, taking part in a twisted experiment. Or take you turn in the Mastermind’s chair, as you try kill the Survivors.Resident Evil Resistance will be included as part of Resident Evil 3and will run right up until launch day.
