There seems to be a bevvy of content heading to MMORPG New World which includes new dungeons, weapons, events, PVP content and more.
New World Roadmap Released Outlines New Weapons, Expeditions and Events
Amazon Games has unveiled their roadmap for New World this year, which covers spring to autumn. The content heading our way includes new expeditions, a couple of new weapons, events, PVP content, a new area to explore and much more.
New World Spring Content
The latest post on the New World website provides a deep dive into New World covering the updates heading to the game. Previously the ‘Heart of Madness’ update was revealed heading to the game this spring. Adding a new expedition called Tempest’s Heart, a new weapon called the Blunderbuss, new PVP content with a 3v3 arena and PVP Reward Track. There is also theconclusion to the storyline for Isabella.
The Heart of Madness update will also bring a number of bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Examples given are infinite ammo and only requiring one player to be at the entrance of anExpeditioninstead of the whole group.
New Weapon Blunderbuss
The Blunderbuss is described as a ranged weapon that offers players a high level of mobility. It also does some great close-to-mid range damage. It’s also the firstWeaponto scale with both strength and intelligence. The weapon has two weapon masteries Containment and Chaos which provide different playstyles:
New World Summer Content
In summer, players will be introduced to another dungeon called Barnacles & Black Powder Expedition, a new Expedition Group Finder feature and a summer event.
New World Autumn Content
As for autumn, players will get a new area to explore called the Brimstone Sands Territory with new unseen AI, a new expedition called The Ennead, a new weapon a Greatsword, Leaderboards, a Nightvale Hallow Event which could be a Halloween themed event and the Turkulon 2022 Event.
In case you missed it,New Worldlaunched with a bang back in September of last year. The MMORPG developer by Amazon Studios garnered a lot of interest and long server queues as the game offered a base game with no subscription fee. The title focuses on crafting and PVP experience, such as mass PVP battles. Another feature that set it apart from the mass of MMOs out there was the classless system it adopted, meaning players can pick up aweaponand begin to level those skills. This made for some flexible playstyles with a number ofbuildoptions. One criticism was that the game had little to keep players' interest towards the endgame, but the upcoming updates and content may attract new players and bring back former players who felt the content was a little sparse.
The exact dates for each of these updates have not been revealed but this seems to be a steady flow of content and updates for New World in 2022.
