PlayStation Leak Reveals the Surprise Early
Capcom is doing very well withMonster Hunter Wilds, even though recent reviews on Valve’s platform are marked as “overwhelmingly negative” and “mixed” overall. The developer is already working on fixes and improvements, so it was widely expected that they would announce new content during their upcoming Spotlight.
Some users noticed a banner onPlayStation.comthat hadn’t been there before, revealing the contents of this upcoming update.

What’s Coming?
Along with its release date, several features of this second major update—Title Update 2—were leaked. It includes the return of two beloved classic monsters, including Lagiacrus, and introduces a new Arch-Tempered monster.
The fearsomeArch-Tempered Uth Duna, the ultimate predator ofthe Scarlet Forest, is presented as an even more challenging foe. Defeating it in a special event quest will reward players with a unique γ (gamma) armor set. The update also introduces the option to equip Layered Weapons, allowing players to change the appearance of their weapons without affecting their stats or decorations.

More Cosmetic Content and Paid DLC
The update further includes additional content like cosmetic items that can be unlocked through event quests—such asthe Doshaguma Maskand a new free gesture set—and a selection of paid DLC for those who want to keep customizing their experience.
On another note, even though it’s not mentioned in the leak, PC players are hoping for significant performance improvements, as recent Steam reviews have been “extremely negative,” signaling that player patience with the current state of thePC versionhas run out.
