Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Steam and GOG Patch Notes - June 21, 2025

Stardew Valley 1.6 has been released on the eighth anniversary of the game, offering players significantly more gameplay than they have experienced in previous years. The new update includes new festivals, a mastery system, additional dialogues, items, and maps. Almost every aspect of Stardew Valley has been updated to breathe new life into everyone’s beloved farming game.

So far, the Stardew Valley 1.6 update has only been available on PC, which meansconsoleplayers and those on other platforms will have to wait a bit longer. It won’t be too long, I hope, since ConcernedApe himself posted onX(formerly Twitter) that the console and mobile versions are going to followas soon as possible. As far as I remember, versions 1.4 and 1.5 took aroundtwo monthsto come to console, so it’s safe to say that the Stardew Valley update 1.6 will take a similar amount of time.
