What would a game about blasting aliens be without a ton of guns to choose from? Fortunately, you’re spoiled for choice in Helldivers, with a massive selection. If you’re still rocking basic gear, let me show you how to unlock other weapons in Helldivers 2.
Where to unlock new weapons in Helldivers 2
You canbuy new weapons from the Acquisitions Centerwith Warbonds. You’ll need to complete at least one mission before you can view the selection. Once you’ve done that, you can check out everything available in the Helldivers Mobilise! Catalog.
The Acquisitions store is split into pages, and you must spend a designated amount of Warbonds on each before advancing. As you may expect, weapons quickly become expensive, but you’re able to buy everything from SMGs to Shotguns.

Weapons are usually the most expensive item on each page, so I recommend looking through the choices beforehand in case you want to save up for something. If you’re unsure how to get Warbonds, check out our guide, which explains everything.
What weapons should I buy first in Helldivers 2?
I daresay it’s worth trying every weapon out, but I’ve been loving theR-63 Diligence Marksman Rifleon page 2. This rifle packs a punch and is excellent for ammo economy as it’s a precision weapon. The P-19 Redeemer is a spicy upgrade to the regular pistol, although it burns through ammo with its rapid-fire rate.
If you don’t mind a range decrease, theSG-8 Punisherfeels incredible compared to the regular Assault Rifle. This Shotgun deals obscene damage and even penetrates lightly armored foes. Most enemies you’ll encounter on Trivial and Easy difficulties will fall in a couple of shots, although you do have to be close to your foes.
New weapons will help you survive against more dangerous creatures but don’t sleep on Ship Module upgrades. You’ll need Samples for these, socheck out our guideif you need to stock up.
