How to set up and install Epic Games Store games on Steam Deck

One of the main selling points of theSteam Deckis that it provides access to a massive library of Steam games, and many PC gamers have built up a considerable collection of those over the years. There might be those who wish they could play games from theEpic Storeon the Steam Deck, and there is a way to do this.
Thankfully, the process involved is relatively simple. Using the new Junk-Store plugin, available through Decky Loader, your Epic Game Store games can be integrated into your Steam Deck game library.
To unlock the full potential of your Steam Deck and get access to your full library of PC games, we’ve outlined all the steps needed to get you started.
How to install Epic Games with Junk-Store plug-in
To make playing Epic Games Store titles on the Steam Deck even more streamlined, you can installJunk-Store. Junk-Store is a free-to-download Decky Loader plugin that allows you to install Epic Games and add them to your gaming mode library.
To install the Junk-Store plugin, you will need Decky Loader installed on your Steam Deck. Luckily, we already have aDecky Loader guide, to make that process as straightforward as possible. With Decky Loader installed, press the Quick Access button, represented by three dots on the right-hand side of your device.
From the newly opened drop-down menu, scroll down to the Decky Loader icon, which is represented by an image of a plug. Now, select the small shop icon, which will load up the Decky Loader plugin store.

While on the plug-in store, search “junk” in the text box and click install once the Junk-Store plug-in has appeared. Return to Decky Loader on your device, and select the newly listed Junk-Store plugin. In the Junk-Store plug-in menu, navigate to and select ‘About.’
On this page, scroll down one option to ‘Dependencies’ and click “Install Dependencies’ from the top of the screen. If you’re met with a white page, back out and try again. Restarting your Steam Deck can also help jumpstart the process.
If you haven’t got Proton Easy Anti Cheat or Proton BattlEye installed on your Steam Deck, you may install them here. If you already have them on your handheld, their install boxes will be grayed out.Return to the Junk-Store plug-in menu and navigate to ‘Games’. From here, you can log in with your Epic Games Store details by clicking the small login box. If you’re having trouble typing in your log-in details, remember you can bring up the built-in Steam Deck keyboard but pressing theSteam button and Xsimultaneously.
Now, next time you access the Games section of Junk-Store, you’re able to install your favorite Epic Games Store games. Any games in your Epic Games Store library, including titles like Fall Guys that aren’t currently available on the Steam platform, will appear.
To download the Epic Games Store games to your deck, simply select the game you want to play, followed by the ‘Install game’ option.
