A new trailer was released for upcoming turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail during Summer Game Fest, featuring spaceships and more.
Honkai: Star Rail New Trailer Teases Sci-fi World and Spaceships
A new trailer was shown during Summer Game Fest, featuring the sci-fi open-world Honkai: Star Rail. The game follows a main character that takes a journey abroad the Astral Express. The game is developed byGenshin Impactstudio HoYoverse, but instead of action combat, players will engage in turn-based fights. Assembling a team of fighters, players will use their unique combat abilities to their advantage. Star Rail sets to be a new entry in the Honkai universe, set to appeal to both new and old fans of the franchise.
The trailer shows off intergalactic missions, complete with giant lasers, sword fighting and a space train. Space travel doesn’t look too bad with a character offering wine on board a massive spaceship. Of course there is something more sinister going on as characters look in peril at the incoming red warning signs.
Previously Star Rail was revealed as thenext entry in Honkai games, being developed for both mobile devices and PC. Currently, the game has no released date, but a second closed beta takes place on June 15th. The trailer title also teases “To You Who Will Soon Depart”, which could be hinting at a release date soon?
In the meantime, another HoYoVerse title that got shown during the showcase wasZenless Zone Zero, another PC/mobile hybrid game that follows a more modern urban setting.
