The legendary Japanese creator recently spoke about the game during theofficial Kojima Productions podcast, offering insight into how things are going.

He compared the progress to a24-hour cycle, saying the game is currently at “10 PM,” implying there are justtwo hours leftin the metaphorical day before it’s finished.
It was already clear that the game was nearing completion—after all, the sequel featuringSam and Louis launching in just over two and a half months.
While we’re still waiting to learn whether the game will support the newPSSRversion (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), which is set to roll out in 2026, theFAQ sectionon the official PS Store page has revealed some new details.
