A new set of Kickstart quests is now available in Fortnite to commemorate the launch of Chapter 5 Season 4, and this Marvel-themed season is filled withnew heroic Mythicsand items that shake up the standard battle royale gameplay.
This season’s Battle Pass is filled with Marvel heroes and villains like Mysterio, Shuri, War Machine, and Gwenpool. You’ll need quite a bit of XP to unlock most of them, though, and these Kickstart quests are the best way to get a headstart on the leveling process in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.

Discover Doomstadt, Castle Doom, and The Raft
Doomstadt, Castle Doom, and The Raftare the three major new POIs added to the island in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. To complete this quest, you just need to visit each of them once to fill in the blank spaces on your map. The Raft is located on the western side of the island, while Doomstadt and Castle Doom can be found in the northern and northeastern parts of the map respectively.
Hit opponents while aiming down sights with the Monarch Pistol
TheMonarch Pistolis an all-new sidearm added to the Fortnite loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. you’re able to find it pretty commonly as floor loot, but if you want to complete this quest as quickly as possible, you can get a guaranteedMythic Monarch Pistolby defeatingDoombotat Castle Doomin the northeastern corner of the map. Once you obtain the handgun, take advantage of its slow fire rate and high accuracy to nail some long-distance shots.
Destroy objects or damage opponents with War Machine’s Arsenal
War Machine has multiple Mythicsin Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, and this quest requires you to specifically findWar Machine’s Arsenal. This can be found as normal floor loot, but it has a higher chance of dropping fromAvenger’s Cheststhroughout the map. These are special chests similar to the Greek ones from earlier in the Chapter. Once you find War Machine’s Arsenal, use the bullets and rockets to deal damage to complete this quest.
Search Dr. Doom Chests or Avenger’s Chests
For the best chance at obtaining the new Marvel Mythics introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, you’ll want to look forDr. Doom Chests or Avenger’s Chestsacross the island. These are special chests that are practically guaranteed to contain at least one Marvel item. You can find them at the newMarvel POIs like The Raft, Doomstadt, Doom’s Courtyard, and Castle Doom.
Damage opponents with Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb
Since it’s a Doctor Doom-themed season, the imposing Marvel villain gets a Mythic of his own in the form ofDoom’s Arcane Gauntlets. These have a special ability calledMystical Bomb, which launches a huge explosive projectile at enemies. you’re able to find this Mythic anywhere on the island, but it has a higher chance of appearing inDr. Doom Chests. These chests arecommonly found at Doomstadt, Doom’s Courtyard, and Castle Doom.
Collect War Machine’s Arsenal, War Machine’s Auto-turret, and War Machine’s Hover Jets
This is the second War Machine Kickstart quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. War Machine has multiple Mythics this season, and this quest requires you to collect all three of them. War Machine’s Arsenalis the primary weapon for War Machine, whileWar Machine’s Auto-turretis a shoulder-mounted machine gun andWar Machine’s Hover Jetsallow you to fly through the air. Just pick up all three of them at once to complete this quest.
Accept a SHADOW Briefing: Armory
This Kickstart quest isn’t related to any of the new Marvel shenanigans introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, so it should be familiar to anyone who has played the previous seasons of this Chapter. There areSHADOW terminalsacross the map that give short quests like usual, and they’re marked on the map with small icons when you approach them. To complete this quest, find a SHADOW terminal and accept an Armory challenge.
Defeat Doom, Emma Frost, or Mysterio
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 introduces a bunch of new bosses to the island, and this quest requires you to defeat eitherDoom, Emma Frost, or Mysterio. You canfind Emma Frost at The Raft, whileMysterio and Doom are located at Doomstadt. Each boss drops a Medallion upon defeat plus Mythic gear.
Completing all eight of these Kickstart quests will give you a decent headstart on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass. More quests will be released throughout the season to give you even more chances to earn XP, but if you’re desperate for levels now, you may always farmAccoladesand other minor challenges.
