Today, Codemasters and EA SPORTS have revealed the first Deep Dive videos forF1 25. The official Formula One game of the 2025 season, the season is well under way as the release date for F1 25 draws closer. Enhancing the My Team Experience
My Team 2.0 will be taking more of a managerial angle thoroughly encompassing the term “My Team”. These options were not available in the previous F1 titles. You will now be able to juggle the roles of the driver and the owner. Running the day-to-day operations of your facilities is key. Owners will be responsible for recruiting and managing a pair of drivers for their team. Race weekends will provide the player a choice on who they would like to race as.
F1 25 Brings Back Braking Point, Possible Reverse Tracks
What is confirmed is the return of Braking Point with Braking Point 3, along with a movie tie-in from the upcoming F1 that is an Apple Original Film.
Facility Management
Three key Facilities have been introduced, each with a unique responsibility:
Blending Career Mode and My Team 2.0
F1 25 will offer updates to the Driver Icons system including the ability for AI teams to recruit iconic drivers.This will be available in both My Team 2.0 and in the Career Mode. Players will be able to add an 11th team to the grid. This can include Braking Point’s Konnersport or the APXGP team from the new Apple Original Films F1. The later is available for those who purchase the Iconic Edition prior to July 11, so this is available well after the game releases.
April 17 will bring the next Deep Dive that focuses on presentation, track updates and other in-game innovations. F1 25 will release on May 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is currently available for pre-order in both the Standard and Iconic Edition. The game is currently retailing during the pre-order period on PC for $59.99 while the Iconic Edition is $79.99.
