FromSoftware has released a new patch forElden Ring: Nightreignthat fixes two major battle-related bugs, and it’s mandatory to install it in order to play online.
Elden Ring: Nightreign Gets Patch 1.01.5
Players ofElden Ring: Nightreignare eagerly waiting for the two-player co-op mode to become available. It’s one of the promises FromSoftware made following the game’s strong commercial performance, as this feature was cut during development forPlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Elden Ring: Nightreignhas proven to be a sales success, surpassing 3.5 million copies sold and becoming the best-selling game in the U.S. in May 2025.
This gives the green light for new characters (or classes), environments, weapons, and bosses to be added to the multiplayer spin-off in the future. And, of course, it also means updates will come more frequently than they did forElden Ringand itsShadow of the ErdtreeDLC.
Patch 1.01.5 forElden Ring: Nightreignis now available onPS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC—just two weeks after update 1.01.4, which still didn’t deliver on the promised co-op mode.
This is amandatory updatein order to play online, so keep that in mind. It focuses on fixing two key bugs that affected boss battles in the game.

Update 1.01.5 is now live forElden Ring: Nightreignon PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. While it still doesn’t include the anticipated two-player co-op mode, it does bring a couple of important fixes that improve the boss battle experience.

Bandai Namco warns that a regulation error may occur. The version number for this update is1.01.5(application version) and1.01.7(regulation version).
Elden Ring Nightreign Updated to Version 1.01.4
Elden Ring Nightreign gets updated to version 1.01.4 with bug fixes and performance tweaks.
If you don’t see version 1.01.7 listed under regulation version, it’s recommended to log in (connect your console or PC to the Internet) to download the latest regulation files and ensure smooth online gameplay.
