Star Wars Zero Companyis the new tactical action and strategy game from Respawn and Bit Reactor, which will be unveiled atStar Wars Celebration.
Star Wars Zero Company Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
This game is the latest in the Lucasfilm franchise, developed by Respawn (creators ofJedi: Fallen OrderandJedi: Survivor) and Bit Reactor, a studio that has worked on series such as Gears of War, XCOM, andThe Elder Scrolls.
Its name was leaked a few days ago, along with several images, with the promise that this would be a tactical action and strategy game for PC and consoles.
EA has announced thatStar Wars Zero Companyis in development forPS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, although no release date has been given yet.What we do know is that it’s asingle-player turn-based tactical game(it’s unknown whether it will include multiplayer), with more details about its story, setting, and mechanics yet to be revealed.
According to the official Electronic Arts website, a more in-depth preview will be shown onApril 19, 2025, duringStar Wars Celebration Japan.
What we have seen is the main artwork, featuring five characters that appear to represent differentclasseswe’ll be able to choose from before entering combat. For now, there’s no mention of a possible release onNintendo Switch 2.

At Star Wars Celebration, we’ll learn all the details about the game, from itsstory, characters, and setting (within the galactic universe)to its gameplay mechanics.At first glance, it appears to be a game similar to XCOM, with anisometric, third-person view.
Possible Playable Classes and Characters
Judging by the main art and leaked images,Star Wars Zero Companymay feature various classes to choose from before combat.
For example, aRepublic assault trooper(a CIS droid also appears in a hologram), abounty hunterin the style ofBoba Fett, aJedi Knight, or even anastromech droid(likeR2-D2).
Each character type will play a distinct role on the battlefield. It remains to be seen whether the game will focus solely on its story or if there will be a mode dedicated torecreating some of the most epic battles in Star Wars history.
