Dragon Age 4 Still Being Worked on Confirmed By Bioware Producer
Last we saw ofDragon Age 4was a brief teaser clip duringEA Play Live, which showed a couple locations covered in some strange glowing red tentacles. But there has been confirmation from the Bioware producer himself Mark Darrah through the power of twitter. He shared a tweet explaining why there hadn’t been much news on the upcoming project and the reason is mainly to do with the new arrangements due to the pandemic.
The development team are currently working from home which has not been easy for many teams who now working in a home environment. This of course slows down development, but Darrah does say they are still making progress so that’s good news:

I realize that most of you are here for Dragon Age news and there hasn’t been a lot of that lately…
Let me just run down some things I an say:
We are working on the next Dragon Age
Yes we are working from home
Working from home is harder
We are making progress

Later he tweeted his surprise by the response from fans saying “I honestly don’t understand the pickup of this…Am I magic?”. Well this is mainly due to the fact many fans have been waiting for the next instalment, with the last titleDragon Age: Inquisitionreleasing back in 2014.
Electronic Arts has shared previously that it wouldn’t be likely we’d be seeing the fourth Dragon Ageinstalment before 2022, so this indicates that the development is still in the early stages and this is probably the most we’ll be seeing of the game for now.
While this isn’t huge news, it’s a slight update on how things are going which is reassuring. Are you excited forDragon Age 4? Let us know in the comments below.
