Cal Kestis, the protagonist of theStar Wars Jedi SurvivorGame series, might be on the verge of dying, as it is speculated that Jedi 3 would be the last installation in the series. This has made fans weary about what the future holds for Kestis.
However, killing him off would not do much justice to the theme of the game, and it will be an unexpected turn. Nothing can be said for certain as of now; doubts will only be cleared after the game’s release since it is too soon to hold a preconceived notion against it.
Cal Kestis’ Death Would Go Against The Narrative
In the next addition to the Jedi Survivor series, which will be the last addition to the franchise, Cal Kestis is seen struggling to be alive. There have been speculations about his death in the upcoming game. However, his death would reiterate and reflect on the parts of him that would go against the narrative of the game.
He has seen many close calls in the past and could easily die in the last game, concluding his as well as the empire’s story. However, Cal Kestis needs retribution; he has grown as a fighter and all for liberation; if he does not achieve it, then things do not make much sense.

Secondly, he has a large (dark side) wound that needs healing and a relationship with a mentee/padawan to navigate, along with the looming threat of the Empire. Thirdly, Kestis’ dying or giving into the darkness would prove his older self, the Inquisitors, Trilla, Masana, Dagan, and Bode all right, which goes against the theme and narrative of the game.

All in all, killing him would not be the best decision; however, having said that, it is also fair to give the writing team behind the game some credit since they are the ones currently trying to come up with an ending that will resonate withStar Warsfans for years to come.
Star Wars Jedi 3 Would Be The last Addition To The Franchise
Star Wars Jedi 3is set to conclude the Jedi Survivor series. There has been no official announcement regarding the game’s release as of now. However, it has been confirmed that this will be the last game.
Star Wars Jedi 3 Already Entering Development
The game is far away from release; it has onlybeen confirmed that itis currently in development. EA’s decision to make this game the last one seems logical after its recent shift in focus towards Marvel games.
