It’s official: Chipotle is partnering with Tekken 8, offering fans a series of perks and events all throughout 2024. Special offerings include a means to earn extra in-game currency and a limited-time menu item, and the featured events will be Chipotle’s own tournament and the company’s return as the presenting partner of the 2024 Evolution Championship series (known by most as “EVO”) in Las Vegas.
The partnership’s first major feature started today, allowing Tekken 8 players to earn premium in-game currency by placing orders through either Chipotle.com or the Chipotle app. All one has to do is use the promo code EWGF623 and place their order; they’ll then receive a code for 500 Tekken Coins. This will apply to each qualifying order placed during the promotion period. Members of Chipotle Rewards can also redeem 250 points in the Chipotle Rewards Exchange to get an additional 500 Tekken Coins code.

Hungry Tekken fans can also try out the Tekken 8 Battle Bowl.
Those interested in the new, Tekken-themed menu item will be able to get it exclusively via Chipotle.com and the Chipotle app. This item, the Tekken 8 Battle Bowl, was crafted via fan vote-back during the Tekken World Tour Finals in January and was decided with 38,000 votes. This fan-made burrito bowl includes: chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, fajita veggies, cheese and guacamole.
As for the events, the first will be the 2024 Chipotle Challenger series. This will be the very first branded tournament on the PlayStation Tournaments platform, and it’s offering two winners free Chipotle for a year and a share of a $20,000 cash prize. They’ll also earn a trip to EVO 2024 in Las Vegas. This will all be decided at the conclusion of the series' Grand Finals, which are set to be held on Saturday, May 4.
