Romance is a tricky topic in this fantasy RPG, as we know for sure that it exists but there are very specific ways to go about it. Although you’re able to romance one NPC, are you allowed to romance multiple NPCs inDragon’s Dogma 2?

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Can you romance multiple NPCs?

While it does seem as though you’re free to romance more than one NPC, Dragon’s Dogma 2 currently only allows you toofficially romance Ulrika and Wilhemina. Sure, you can give any NPC gifts to raise your Affinity with them, but it doesn’t mean you can experience romance cutscenes with them.

Iromanced Ulrikathrough her questline starting with the “Readvent of Calamity quest” which ended with a kissing cutscene. But I would still be able to raise my Affinity with Wilhemina (who works at theRose Chateau Bordelerie) and go through with her romance questline.

The only issue is just how difficult it is to get the chance to romance Wilhemina, as you can only start her questlinebefore heading to Battahl but after completing Captain Brant’s quests. So for now I’m unable to attempt both romance questlines, but they’re just cutscenes and they don’t seem to change how they feel about you. Cheating doesn’t exist, apparently.

Just like the first game, romance plays a small part at the end of Dragon’s Dogma 2. At the end of the campaign, you end up with theNPC with the most Affinity. If you have multiple NPC with high Affinity, it ends up being the last person you chatted with. So even if you get romance cutscenes with Ulrika and Wilhemina you could end up with one or the other, and maybe neither of them.

Perhaps players will discover more romance storylines in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but for now, it only seems like you can have romance cutscenes with those two women. And it also seems like you’re free to romance them both, and they won’t care about it.

Other than these two, you may still be interested inromancing Captain Brant, even though he doesn’t seem to have a romance cutscene.
