With Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone, Caldera is receiving some major upgrades, which will renew certain points of interest (POIs) for players. These map changes will be implemented with the first seasonal patch, i.e., prior to the Operation Monarch event featuring Godzilla and Kong.
New Point of Interest - Monarch Dig Site
At this new POI between Mines and Ruins, excavators found massive skeletal structures of various mythical creatures from the MonsterVerse. Other than the remains of monsters from the Hollow Earth, Dig Site contains ample loot and supply chests for an entire squad.

Updated Point of Interests - Peak, Runway, Lagoon
Although the Gulag is not considered a POI, it is receiving a significant change in Season 3. Fallen players will fight their 1v1 battle in a brand-new Gulag map—Hold.
Additional Secrets and Side Quests
Before the limited-time event featuring the Titans kicks off, various Easter Eggs and secrets can be examined to uncover what’s coming. Ancient artifacts, Monarch research sites, and a massive glowing axe are the most prominent additions.
