One thing that is expected from games bearing the name Yakuza or Like a Dragon is plenty of side activities. SinceLike a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaiihas both those parts in their title, one can be confident that there are plenty of optional activities to whittle away the hours. This is very true, as it is almost impossible to get bored while wearing the pirate getup of Captain Majima.
Alo-Happy Tours are one of the activities that are found in Honolulu. These tours send Majima on a photo scavenger hunt, having him snap pictures of specific targets across several different areas. Even though the store is based in Honolulu, they are well aware of the things that go on in Madlantis. While pictures can’t truly capture the debauchery of the pirate hangout, they found fifteen worthwhile photo ops on the island.

Review: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Waking up marooned on a tropical island with no memory of who he is, Goro Majima does the only sensible thing. He becomes a pirate captain.
A Lost Kappa
This was one of the trickier photos to find in Madlantis. The general location on the map is noted below, but it takes some perceptive eyes to catch the kappa hiding up on the railing. To the average onlooker, Majima is snapping a pic of the couple up there, but he’s really after that lost kappa.
Big Anchor
Situated between Dunghill and Bang Bang Batting Center is the Big Anchor. It seems like the type of modern art to adorn a place like Madlantist, so it seems like a natural choice for Alo-Happy Tours.
Bang Bang Batting Center
Not only is Bang Bang Batting Center a fun minigame, it’s also a target for Alo-Happy’s Madlantis photo tour. It doesn’t take a genius to know that exploding barrels, baseball bats and cannons are a recipe for a good time, it just takes a genius to put them together and charge money to participate. The game itself costs money, but taking a picture of it is free.
Chimera Statue
It is not uncommon to encounter a Chimera in a video game, but they aren’t usually found in ones that take place in modern times and in the real world. It is just a Chimera Statue, so it isn’t that out of place here. Majima may seem out of place in the Luxury Palace Hotel in his pirate getup, but no one else present seems to give him a second look. Snap the photo, and return to the less stuffy parts of Madlantis. If this was a Kasuga game, the Chimera Statue would probably come to life and battle the party, which Kasuga would love and compare it to Dragon Quest.
Death Wheel
Madlantis is a festive place, but also a bit mad. Having a Ferris wheel fits the whole pirate circus vibe they have going on, but Death Wheel is just a bit more fitting. Look for the big Madlantis Circus letters, and there is the Death Wheel. Sadly, the Death Wheel is just for show and Majima and crew can’t ride on it for a bonding activity.
Traffic Light
Apparently, traffic lights exist in Madlantis. Just to the left of the Pirate Colosseum is the Traffic Light tucked away above all the ground activity.
A Small Steering Wheel
Review: Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
A return to turn-based combat finds Infinite Wealth deliver one of the series' most emotional, effective and celebratory entries yet.
A nautical steering seems like an essential piece of decor in any pirate-themed spot. Sitting in the bar at the Dunghill is the Small Steering Wheel. Snap a pic and have a drink with it.

Since we’re snapping the steering wheel on the bar, we may as well get a picture of the Dunghill while we’re at it.
Golf in Madlantis
Majima is at that age when taking up golf is almost expected, so head on over the skull and cross clubs to take a picture of the Madlantis Golf game. Maybe play a few rounds while he’s there.
Lost Coconut Kametaro
The Lost Coconut Kametaro is tucked away on the shelf at the Welcome Center. It’s kind of hard to see, but the photo icon makes it easy to find. Yes, Majima is taking a picture of the Lost Coconut Kametaro. Nothing else.
Pirates Colosseum
This is the main attraction of Madlantis, and can be snapped either while running around or in any of the other times when Majima registers the crew to participate in pirate battles.
A Lost Ukelele Boy and Ukelele Girl
Hiding out in one of the more circus themed parts of Madlantis are two lost ukelele children. Majima found them, but takes no further action to make them not lose other than taking a picture of them at their present location. Maybe the Ukelele Parents will see it and find their lost children, but I am not optimistic.
A Sexy Signboard
Madlantis is a place known for pirate debauchery, so a sign such as this should be expected. Take your picture, but don’t gawk at it too long. Majima has a reputation to uphold. And there is no activity related to the signboard in Madlantis either. It’s just for show.
Down by the docks there is a signboard that reads MCU. Never took Majima for a fan of Mavel movies, nor would they be something that would be expected in a place like Madlantis, but maybe everyone just likes superhero movies. Or they thought Captain America was a pirate. That would have been a great secret super boss.

Captain America, the Yankee Pirate. Can the Mad Dog of Shimano defeat the man injected with Super Soldier Serum? And beating him, it unlocks a Super Soldier Serum power up for Majima? New fighting style, new special moves, and it would make the fight against the Amon Pirates super easy.
Suspicious Man
Now that superheroes are on the brain, this suspicious man’s picture looks a bit like boy-wonder Robin. It’s tucked away in the circular area between the Luxury Palace Hotel and the seedier areas of Madlantis. He’s advertising a cache of cash, which seems appropriate for pirates, so the only real suspicious thing about him is his mask. Take the picture, and then return to Alo-Happy Tours for the reward.
These are all the photos for Alo-Happy Tours in Madlantis. Madlantis is a mad place, so it’s only fitting that there were so many good photo ops there. Of course, the craziest things that happen there can’t be caught on film, but just like Vegas, what happens in Madlantis stays in Madlantis.

The prize for completing this photo tour is the Zombie outfit for Majima, which is a fine addition to his eclectic wardrobe. In addition to dressing in fancy pirate regalia, cosplaying as other Yakuza characters, or hitting the town in drag as Goromi, he can now be a zombie.
